Art was never the whole of it. Since 1976, Jimmy Engineer has painted so that he could give — spending the earnings of his canvases on the downtrodden, and walking the length and breadth of Pakistan so that special children, orphans and patients could not be overlooked. It is why the press calls him the Servant of Pakistan.
